flashback
a flashback is a vivid experience in which you relive some aspects of a traumatic event or feel as if it is happening right now . This can sometimes be like watching a video of what happened, but flashbacks do not necessarily involve seeing images, or reliving events from start to finish.
point of view shots
A point of view shot is a film scene—usually a short one—that is shot as if through the eyes of a character. The camera shows what the subject's eyes would see. It is usually established by being positioned between a shot of a character looking at something, and a shot showing the character's reaction.
apparently impossible positions
These are camera shots designed to give unusual perspectives of the action, such as an aerial shot. You can see this in the opening scene of Skyfall where a drone. was used to film some of the motorbike chase.
privileged spectator positions
This is when the camera places the audience in a position where the viewer sees aspects of the narrative that other characters cannot see.
voiceovers
Voice-over is a production technique where a voice—that is not part of the narrative —is used in a radio, television production, filmmaking, theatre, or other presentations. The voice-over is read from a script and may be spoken by someone who appears elsewhere in the production or by a specialist voice actor.
enigma codes
Enigma Code – this code refers to mystery within a text. Clues are dropped, but no clear answer are given. Enigmas within the narrative make the audience want to know more. Unanswered enigmas tend to frustrate the audience.
action codes
Action codes give guidance to the operator of the type of action needed when the message appears on the system console. The following action codes are used: A. Immediate action; for example, mount a tape.
